FCS II Mason Ho Tri Fin Set
Mason Ho's Signature fin. Welcome to Mason's world, and welcome to Mason's new fin.
Overview
Mase is calling this his new magic fin!
The new Mason Ho signature fin is a mashup of different templates. We took influences from Kelly Slater's original K-3 and Mick Fanning's signature templates, then reworked the flex, foil and tip profile based on extensive testing and feedback from Mason himself.
This might just be the fin to rule them all...
Sitting in the Accelerator Family, this all-purpose, all-conditions fin will feel steady when driving into a turn, and fast and loose off the top. Explosive is another word to describe how this fin responds, and in this case, the personality of the M.Ho fin totally matches the creator and rider. Fast, Loose & Fun!
Mason's fin features a bevelled leading edge which allows for silky smooth transitions between turns. Performance Core + AirCore construction makes the fin a touch lighter, the flex a little stiffer and overall more reactive compared to standard PC construction, which is again suited to Mason's punk style of surfing.
This fin had a long development runway. Mason was after one fin he could use in his small wave rock-hopping fun boards right through to his big wave pipe guns, and it wasn't until he was totally satisfied that we pulled the trigger.
Welcome to Mason's world, welcome to Mason's new fin.
"The fins have been all time!!! Got some crazy waves at Ala Moana and got to push them hard as I could in the big bowl on some turns; full control off the bottom and nice and loose off the top. They went totally crazy in the pool as well, great projection on the air sections". Mason Ho

I am a Beginner surfer. Which boards are best for me?
We highly recommend the Roller, Sally Fitz, The Middie. These boards are designed specifically so learners can easily paddle onto waves and jump to their feet. They create a very stable platform for surfers of all ages to confidently ride waves and learn the basic skills of surfing.
I am an Intermediate surfer. Which boards are best for me?
We highly recommend the Bomber. The board has a more refined shape compared to typical ‘learner’ boards which are great for surfers looking to start turning and riding the faces of waves.
I am an Advanced surfer. Which boards are best for me?
We recommend the The Triplet, or Toledo Signature. These boards have a similar feel and performance between a fibreglass board. The double-sided slick is the closest Softboard material to a traditional shortboard.
Do all boards come with Fins included?
Some boards do come with fins, others do not. Please refer to the product page. If free fins are mentioned in the product description, the board will come with fins. If it is not mentioned, the board will not come with fins.

Do I need to wax my Softboard?
We recommend waxing your softboard very lightly before each session to ensure maximum grip while your surfing.

Can I apply a tail pad / deck-grip to my Softboard?
All double sided slick boards can have a pad / mid-decks applied to them; please follow installation instructions. Make sure the surface is dry & clean. The Foam top coated Softboards will not stick, we do not recommend applying pads to these boards.
What is the benefit of the FCS II Fin System in my Softboard?
With the FCS II system, the need for any screws or tools to secure the fins has been eliminated. Simply insert the front of the fin into the plug and use downward pressure to lock the fin in place. Easily insert & remove the fins based on the wave conditions or the riders ability.
Using FCS II fins in your softboard, will add extra speed, control and drive to your foamie game. It's super easy to swap out your fins to suit the conditions & how you want to surf. No screws or key needed.

My board is damaged. How do I repair this myself?
We recommend using a standard clear silicone that can be found at any generic hardware store, make sure the board has been dried out before applying the silicone to the affected area. Seal down any raised foam and patch hole till it is flat on the surface. Make sure silicone is dry and area/hole is sealed before entering the water.
Please note that boards with epoxy (EPS) cores are highly susceptible to water inundation if the outer skin layer is punctured and the core is exposed. If your board has an EPS core and it is damaged we recommend getting it out of the water immediately and repairing the damage right away to limit water ingress. If you cannot repair the damage yourself we highly recommend taking it to your local surfboard repair business to have them repair the damage before taking the board in the water again.
Are you looking for a soft-board cover?
