This board is amazing if you want to learn how to surf like a pro. It’s not your typical EPS softy, it’s proper Epoxy core with stringer, vacuum glassed with 6OZ cloth with high-density PE foam deck. I have got a hard board and quickly realised that my surfing level is still bad as I couldn’t catch many waves. So, I have got this soft-board to help myself to improve my skills. It has been amazing, it’s caught everything, I could easily catch waves non-stop, so I have dramatically improved my surfing level. Whether it be clean & pumping or desperate times, a drawn-in tail with ample rocker out the back lets you whip this board around with ease. A wider nose and waist keeps you afloat, making it our best epoxy board for small/mushy conditions. Plenty of rocker in the nose to hook into a turn or keep you from pearling, this board is on another level.

Bought this to learn on. Super fun board, catches anything, easy paddler, now spending way more time up and riding so I'm stoked with it.

Purchased for my 6 year old son to make the next progression after starting him on a bigger board. It has allowed him to start trimming the face of the waves. It's lightweight and much easier to carry to beach. I swapped the fins to medium Performers and surfed myself in clean head high waves, found it really fun and nice to turn (normally surf 5'10", 28 litre shortboard). I look forward to my next surf on it.
